What Happened?

On September 16, a 22-year-old man (Jeremy Brock) from Wayne went to his ex-girlfriend's home in Flat Rock and allegedly pulled a gun on her. He then forced her to steal a vehicle and drive it to Wayne.

Brock then held his 23-year-old ex-girlfriend against her will for six weeks at a motel on Michigan Avenue in Wayne. During those six weeks, Brock assaulted the woman with a baseball multiple times.

On November 1, the woman attempted to run from Brock. There must have been some witnesses because someone called the police and reported a woman that was trying to get away from someone. The police arrived and arrested Brock.

According to MLive, Brock is charged with torture, two counts of unlawful imprisonment, three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, two counts of domestic violence, and two counts of felony firearm.

It's crazy to think of what might have happened if someone hadn't witnessed her trying to escape. What was this guy planning? The whole thing is very disturbing.

It kind of reminds me of the show 'I am a Stalker' that's currently streaming on Netflix. A guy that can't handle rejection and he just keeps going after his ex over and over and over again until something really bad happens.
