USDA Health Alert For Soup Sold in Michigan

According to the USDA, this is a public health alert and not a formal recall. The intent is to inform the public about potential health risks associated with the affected products.

The brands included in the alert include Campbell's, Molly's Kitchen, Sysco, Meijer Crafted Market, and Vital Pursuit.

Where Were the Contaminated Products Sold?

The affected products were shipped to various retail stores and institutions in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio. Specific stores and institutions that may have received the products have not been identified.

However, the FSIS indicates that because cilantro (the contaminated ingredient) is found in many products, the notice could be expanded to included additional products and could reach other states.
