Get Ready to Shake Your Booty: KC & The Sunshine Band Heading to Flint
Get ready for a concert that will have you on your feet dancing from start to finish. The American disco and funk band sounds of the Grammy-winning KC & The Sunshine band are heading to Flint.
Harry Wayne Casey, KC for short, and his talented band will take the stage at The Capitol Theatre for a concert sponsored by the United Way of Genesee County. With 40 years of stellar music and iconic songs, the show is sure to be one of the hottest tickets in town at the legendary downtown Flint venue.
For 40 years, KC & The Sunshine Band has been entertaining audiences of all ages with hits like “Get Down Tonight,” "That's the Way I Like It", and “Shake Your Booty”. The band gave us songs in the 70s, and have remained timeless. With more than a million records sold, nine Grammy nominations, three Grammy Awards, and an American Music Award it's not surprising that they continue to sell out shows coast to coast.
KC & The Sunshine Band will bring the magic to the Capitol Theatre on September 16th. Tickets start at $65 and are on sale now at www.thefim.org.
