It looks like Joey Bada$$ has been hard at work on his follow-up to his B4.Da.$$ album, and fans could hear a new project as soon as this coming January.

He decided to break the news through his Twitter account and said the album will be called A.A.B.A and it was supposed to drop on Nov. 8. Joey also let people know that he pushed the release date back, simply because he wanted to work on it more.

"The new music is well worth the wait," he wrote. "Today was the original release date for my upcoming album, but it's been delayed 4 perfection ...  "I wanna say top of next year ... New Bada$$ album. #AABA, #AABA, #AABA, #AABA, #PROERARECORDS."

Meanwhile, the Brooklyn M.C. will be pretty busy for the rest of this year, playing several dates in November and December.

He'll be playing a show at The Park at LA Coliseum in Los Angeles on Nov. 12. Then he'll perform at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. on Dec. 3. After that, he'll head to Detroit, Mich., Breckenridge, Colo. and possibly other dates as well.

Hopefully, Joey will provide an official release date for A.B.B.A soon, as it'll surely be highly anticipated and could bring him more mainstream appeal.
