After years of turmoil, Karrueche Tran has finally got her wish. A judge granted the actress a five-year restraining order against her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.

The 29-year-old model was in court to testify against Brown in a hearing on Thursday afternoon (June 15). According to TMZ, Tran told the judge that after she broke up with the singer he demanded that she returned the diamond rings he bought her. When she refused, Tran alleges that Brown became aggressive.

Tran said Brown sent her threatening text messages like, “I can get my money back and I’m tired of playing games” and “Bitch I will beat the s--- out of you.”

Tran also testified that Brown has assaulted her in the past.

Brown wasn’t in court and the judge didn’t allow him to join the hearing via the phone. Nevertheless, Brown’s lawyer, David Gammill, interrogated Tran on cross-examination.

He accused Tran of taunting Brown of selling the rings and never planned on returning them at all. Brown’s attorney also brought up that Tran never reported any of the alleged beatings by Brown to the police.

Tran said that she needs the restraining order for her safety and protection. The judge seemed to side with Tran and issued the restraining order stay.

After the hearing, Tran and her attorneys left the courthouse without saying a word to the TMZ cameraman (watch above). Meanwhile, Brown’s attorneys had no comment on the judge's decision.
