Did Kylie Jenner ‘Reconstruct’ Her Face With Plastic Surgery?
Kylie Jenner is shutting down rumors she had plastic surgery on her face.
The 21-year-old recently sat down with Paper magazine to discuss the drama surrounding her ever evolving appearance. Jenner told the outlet the rumors are "completely false." She credits her transformation mostly to camera angles. Jenner said she's "terrified" to have plastic surgery and "would never!"
"People think I fully went under the knife and completely reconstructed my face," she said. "Which is completely false."
Jenner continued, "[People] don't understand what good hair and makeup and, like, fillers, can really do. It's fillers. I'm not denying that."
The young mom dissolved her lip fillers over the summer an an attempt to achieve a more "natural" look and life. She has since decided to get them again, but isn't doing as much as she once did.
In October 2018, Jenner posted a picture of herself on Instagram thanking Pawnta Cosmetic Dermatology of Beverly Hills "for something through late last night with a lip touch up!" Her doctor, Pawnta Abrahim, told People Jenner was just looking to add "a little pout to her lips." She did not have fillers in her cheeks, under eyes, or anywhere else.
Jenner first sought lip fillers because she feared she would be a bad kisser with her naturally thin lips. She discussed the insecurity on Life of Kylie, admitting that she starting worrying about it as a teen.
"I was 15 and I was insecure about my lips. I have really small lips. And it was like one of my first kisses and a guy was like, 'I didn't think you would be a good kisser because you have such small lips.' But I took that really hard," she said at the time.
Before her lip fillers, Jenner said she would simply "overline my lips with lip liner." Eventually, however, it wasn't enough and she got the injections.
