Ever since a questionable Top 50 Greatest Rappers of All Time list surfaced on Twitter on Monday (Aug. 5), a few people have contributed their own lists to the ongoing debate.

On Wednesday (Aug. 7), Lil Durk jumped on his Instagram account and shared his Top 50 Greatest Rappers of All Time list. “Top 50 that changed the culture,” he wrote in the caption of his written list. “Missed a couple tho but let’s argue!!!!!

As is usually the case with lists like this one, there was a good amount of outrage that popped up.

The first five artists on Lil Durk's list were Meek Mill, Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug and Future. He also included himself on the list along with Nicki Minaj, City Girls, fellow Chicago rapper G Herbo, 2019 XXL Freshman Megan Thee Stallion and J. Cole.

Durk’s list appears to only feature today's hottest rappers in the game, so veteran (or O.G.) rhymers like Jay-Z, Nas, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg and others of that ilk are absent.

After Durk posted his list, fans were quick to deliver their thoughts on it—and they weren't exactly happy ones.

"This the most garabage list ever made," wrote one fan on Twitter. Another person tweeted, All these rappers are cool for what they are but bro they don’t even come close to being top 100 ever."

Many fans were upset that veteran artists like Weezy, Jay and Kanye were not featured on the list. "This mf gonna put trippie Red on here but leave out lil Wayne. Smh, I’m done with his music," tweeted one user.
