Lil Nas X had the perfect person in mind to hop on the remix to his single "Panini," but that person apparently hasn't shown the same interest as of yet.

In a tweet Nas X shared on late Sunday night (July 28), he showed a DM he'd sent to Lil Uzi Vert asking him to be on "Panini." The result was nothing but the marker that shows Uzi had read the message and opted not to respond at the time.

Though that's certainly not an ideal response, Lil Nas X has many other reasons to be happy. His breakout single "Old Town Road" just became the longest-running No. 1 record on the Billboard Hot 100 of all time at 17 weeks and counting. Previously, the record was held by Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men's 1995 single "One Sweet Day," as well as Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber with "Despacito," as they were both tied at 16 weeks atop the charts.

As for Uzi, it's possible he's focusing on putting out his own project right now. His Eternal Atake album has been in the works for some time now but continues to suffer delays and other issues, making fans all the more anxious to get their hands on it. It's been nearly two years since his debut album Luv Is Rage 2 was released, and the last time he was asked about the release of EA, his response was merely, "Um, I don't know honestly."

Here's to hoping we get Uzi's new LP soon. Also, best of luck to Lil Nas X in getting that feature he wants for his "Panini" remix.
