Lil Yachty Claims His Words Were Twisted in Choosing a Side in Cardi B and Nicki Minaj Beef

As the Cardi B and Nicki Minaj beef rages on, people are being forced to take sides. Lil Yachty was recently interviewed about the beef and he appeared to emphatically side with Cardi. But the Atlatnta rapper is claiming his words were twisted.

The "Who Want Smoke?" rapper was recently interviewed for an episode of BET's Raq Rant, which will air on Tuesday (Oct. 30). During the talk, Boat was plainly asked if he took sides in the beef. "Yup," he quickly answered.

When asked whose side he is on Yachty responded, "Cardi B. Every time."

Even if it meant not doing a feature with Nicki if she came calling, the Quality Control rapper said, "I couldn't. As much as I probably would want to."

Yachty has since defended his stance on social media saying his words were twisted on the show. "Das not even what I said ," he posted on Twitter.

He added, "‍♂️ cardi show me too much love 4 me be in the dark about who I side w/. I fuck w nicki doe been did since elementary school.. they just twisted my words."

Cardi and Nicki's beef has been on broil the last two days, with Bardi's sister claiming Nicki leaked her phone number to the Barbz. Nicki fired back by offering $100,000 to anyone who can provide footage of their altercation at 2018 NYFW and urging the Bronx rapper to take a lie detector test.
