The scene in Baltimore is scary as protests turned violent, and rioting has led to a few people making very bad decisions.

A prime example of this can be seen on the video of a man cutting a Baltimore firefighters hose while they tried to put out a fire at an area CVS.

The fire was one of many that started shortly after the protests turned violent.

Things have gotten so out of control that A state of emergency has been declared and 1,500 National Guard members have been activated.  A mandatory curfew has also been put in place as city officials try to regain control of their streets.

The violence in Baltimore erupted on the same day as the funeral of Freddie Gray, who died of a spine injury while in police custody. The death is currently under investigation.

In the wake of the violence, schools have been closed and most events have been cancelled.

While some people are saying that violence is the only answer, most are condemning the acts.  The looting and rioting that have taken place are most likely the acts of a small group of people, and shouldn't represent the entire city or group of people rallying around the death of Freddie Gray.

Here is a good example of what happens when common sense rules over angry violence.
