Meijer has put a recall in place for infant and toddler swimsuits that were sold because of a choking hazard.

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission says that the recall revolves around the Wave Zone one piece, zip back swimsuit. There have been numerous reports that the snaps on the back of the suits come off, and could be a choking hazard for the kids wearing them.

Here are the details about the specific suits that are listed in the recall.

  • Sold in four colors featuring a strawberry, stripes, fish, or a shark on the front
  • Sizes sold from 0 to 24m, and have Wave Zone and Made In China printed on the collar.
  • The tracking number is NOV 2016 021-14328 and can be found on the sewn in label
  • They were sold in Michigan Meijer stores from January 17 to July 17 and cost about $14

If you have one of the swimsuits that are being recalled, you are asked to return it to your local Meijer store for a full refund.  You can see all of the details around the swimsuit recall here.
