Michigan Police Will Use Unmarked Cars To Catch Distracted Drivers
'Operation Ghostrider' is the name of a plan developed by Michigan Police to catch distracted drivers using unmarked police cars.
Don't worry about a random car trying to wave you to the side of the road though. The unmarked cars will advise a normal police car where you are, and they will come issue you the ticket.
For a first offense, the fine will be $100, and a $200 fine for each following offense.
Make sure your attention is on the road, and not focused on a phone or electronic device while driving. You can get all of the information about Michigan's Distracted Driving laws here.
