Mid-Michigan High School Basketball Playoffs Kick Off Tonight

The last week of February is here, and that means that High School Basketball playoffs are getting started.

March Madness makes everyone think of the NCAA tournament, but the High School playoffs are just as magical. The playoff run starts tonight for most Mid-Michigan teams, and as is the nature of the playoffs, the playoff run will end for many teams.

The games are broken up this week with first round games taking place tonight, second round games happening on Wednesday, and the District Championships happening on Friday night.

Here are the teams that are getting started tonight, broken down by Division.

Division One

• Bay City Central Vs Midland. 7pm Tipoff at Midland High. The winner will take on Midland Dow on Wednesday.
• Saginaw High Vs Owosso. 5:30pm at Saginaw Heritage. The winner will take on Saginaw Arthur Hill on Wednesday.
• Swartz Creek Vs Flushing. 7:30pm Tipoff at Saginaw Heritage. The winner will take on Saginaw Heritage on Wednesday.
• Flint Southwestern Vs Kearsley. 5:30pm Tipoff at Davison. The winner will take on Lapeer Wednesday.
• Grand Blanc Vs Carman-Ainsworth. 7:30pm Tipoff at Davison. The winner will face Davison on Wednesday.
• Linden Vs Fenton. 5:00pm Tipoff at Hartland on Wednesday the 27th.

Division Two

• Swan Valley Vs Carrollton. 8pm Tipoff at Midland Bullock Creek. The winner will take on Freeland on Wednesday.
• Clio Vs Frankenmuth. 7pm Tipoff at Caro. The winner will take on Caro Wednesday night.
• North Branch Vs Goodrich. 7pm Tipoff at Otisville. The winner will take on Ortonville-Brandon on Wednesday night.

Division Three

• Beecher Vs Bendle. 7pm Tipoff at Beecher. The winner will take on Hamady on Wednesday night.
• Byron Vs Bentley. 5:30pm Tipoff at Beecher. The winner will take on Atherton on Wednesday night.
• Millington Vs SASA. 5:30pm Tipoff at Millington. The winner will take on Vassar on Wednesday night.
• Montrose Vs Valley Lutheran. 7:30pm Tipoff at Millington. The winner will take on Reese on Wednesday night.

Division Four

• Genesee Vs Flint International Academy. 5:30pm Tipoff at FIA. The winner will take on Michigan School for the Deaf on Wednesday.
• Burton Madison Academy Vs Genesee Christian. 7:00pm Tipoff at FIA. The winner will take on Burton Faith on Wednesday.
