Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino and Fyre Fest Founder Billy McFarland Are Apparently Prison Pals
Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and disgraced Fyre Fest founder Billy McFarland are prison friends.
The reality star's Jersey Shore castmates, Vinny Guadagnino and DJ Pauly D, shared an update on their friend's prison sentence, revealing he's doing really well and he's making new friends. They said Sorrentino and McFarland, who was sentenced to six years in prison for wire fraud, hang out all the time and even play Scrabble together.
“He is in there with the guy from the Fyre Festival,” Guadagnino said on The Jenny McCarthy Show in a radio interview on April 10. “And he’s in there with the guy that leaked Jennifer Lawrence’s nudes, that hacked her phone.”
“Imagine what he’s learning in there from all these guys,” he joked.
“He’s in such good spirits because he sees Lauren, his wife, once a day, and he has so much to come home to," Pauly D added. "He has a job—he'll be filming—so he just wants to get it over with and do his time. He's happy."

This update comes after Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi revealed Sorrentino is living it up in prison. “It’s like he’s in a senior home,” she told E! News earlier this month. “He’s playing bingo, he’s helping people recover in jail.”
“He’s in the gym a lot, so he’s probably gonna come out ripped," she added. "You know, he’s not gonna be BDS anymore—Big Daddy Sitch—he’s [probably] gonna have his six-pack again. But he’s doing good in there.”
