Ignite Academy in Mt. Morris definitely made a good impression in their first Michigan Robotics Championship, by winning the championship.

The Ignite team, along with three Detroit area robotics teams, worked together to win the 2016 Michigan State Robotics Championship.

First In Michigan puts on the competition, along with several other qualifying events throughout the year.  The championships happened last weekend in Grand Rapids, and now Ignite has earned the right to head to nationals.

Next up for Ignite and the other champs is a trip to the World Championships in St. Louis on April 27th.
