New Michigan Waterpark & Sports Complex Is A Short Drive Away

If you're looking for a unique way to cool off this summer, you can check off a few boxes at Lake Arvesta Farms in South Haven.

Just a couple hours from Flint, you can be on the Lake Michigan shoreline at Lake Arvesta waterpark and sports complex. You can see in the video above that they've put together their own version of the floating water parks that have become so popular in recent years. We have a similar park closer to us in Holly called the Whoa Zone, but there are a few unique features at Lake Arvesta.

What makes Lake Arvesta different?

Before I answer this question, I want to let everyone know that I have not been to Lake Arvesta yet. Everything I am going on is based off of what I can find online, but it won't be long before we make the trip.

I think the main thing that sets this place apart is the range of things you can do there. They have everything from Pickleball to the water activities and a full bar for the parents.

I've taken my family to a lot of the water parks in Genesee County and surrounding areas. They are all great, but the water sports part of Arvesta are what peak my interest the most.

I grew up near a lake, so going out on the boat waterskiing or wakeboarding were a normal thing. As a grown up, I don't live anywhere near a lake, so my kids rarely get to spend time on a boat. Lake Arvesta has the option to go out waterskiing and wakeboarding while you are there. This is the best of both worlds, because you get to do all of the fun boat things, without actually having to own a boat!

I don't want to brag about this place too much considering I've never been there, but from what I can tell  online, it looks like it will be a great day trip. I'll make sure to give you an update after we spend the day there.
