Some new restrictions have been added to the 67th District Court in Genesee County.

If you have any court cases or business to conduct in the future at the 67th District Court in Genesee County, you may want to read this. Due to the surge in COVID-19 cases in the area, direct public access in the 67th District Court will be restricted for non-participants.

Who is allowed to attend cases at the 67th District Court?

Starting on Monday, December 13th, 2021, all proceedings at the 67th District Court in Genesee County is limited to the following:

  • Plaintiffs
  • Defendants
  • Attorneys
  • Witnesses
  • Court Staff
  • Court Security
  • and persons necessary to the court.

All others will be prohibited from entering. However, all court proceedings will be streamed live via YouTube for the public to watch. These new restrictions were made by the 67th District Court in Genesee County after consulting with the Genesee County Health Department.

This announcement was made by the court system on Friday, December 10th, 2021.
