Nicki Minaj's older brother Jelani Maraj has been found guilty in his child rape trial, according to a new report from TMZ.

He was found guilty of predatory sexual assault against a child and endangering the welfare of a child on Thursday (Nov. 9) in Long Island, New York. Maraj will be sentenced on Dec. 14. He's facing 25 years to life.

The child, who was 11 at the time of the alleged crime, was the daughter of Maraj's then-wife Jacqueline Robinson, making her Maraj's stepdaughter. The girl, who's now 14, testified during the trial, as did her younger brother.

Police said they found Maraj's semen on the girl's pajamas, but the defense claimed the girl and her mother planted the evidence.

Maraj's lawyer also claimed the mother and daughter tried to shake down Maraj and his high-profile sister for $25 million. The attorney also initially said Nicki would take the stand before walking back that statement.
