Nine Year Old Clarkston Boy, Ryan Kennedy Is Suffering From Rare Cancer [Video]

You may have noticed the name Ryan Kennedy as a trending topic on Twitter and thought just another sick child was getting his wish, but that doesn't even scratch the surface of this story.

Ryan Kennedy is a nine year old Clarkston boy who is suffering from a very rare type of brain cancer called 'Ependymoma'.  After countless surgeries since 2007, Ryan decided to let his mom know that he was done with treatments. 

This left doctors the task of letting the family know that this would be their last Mothers Day together, and Ryan would most likely not see his tenth birthday at the end of the month.

It's impossible to imagine what the family is going through and most of us will never be able to understand.  The most important thing is that we all remember how special and fragile we all are.  Remember to kiss your kids before you leave, and show them you love them.
