A Northern Michigan court and administrative building is currently closed after police say they received a voicemail stating there was going to be a bomb inside the courthouse.

The Kalkaska County court and administrative building was evacuated and shut down due to a bomb threat that was left on the sheriff’s voicemail on Monday.  The call came in around 11:48am and the building was immediately evacuated. Police say the building will be closed until further notice, but want to assure residents of Kalkaska that there is no immediate danger outside of the court house.
