Power Being Restored Quickly For Thousands of Genesee County Residents [Video]

An early morning power outage near Flushing left many without power in the bitter cold, but energy is quickly being restored to everyone affected.

The outage happened at around 1am Monday morning, and there are still down power lines in Flushing at Elms and Coutant St.

Consumers reports that they should have everything back to normal by 1pm today.

Two warming centers are open or residents. They are located at the Flushing fire station at 723 E. Main, and in Mt. Morris Twp. at fire station #2 at 4135 N. Jennings Rd.
