Shrine Circus Performer Injured During Performance in Flint

The Shrine Circus is in town at Dort Financial Credit Union Event Center and one of the performers was injured during a fall on Saturday.

During a show over the weekend, one of the performers for the Shrine Circus took a fall during the show. According to those at the scene, the performer was conscious and responsive after the fall. Sources say that the performer was even up and moving around after the incident with a minor foot injury and no signs of concussion. The Shrine Circus performer is expected to return to work after recovering.

The Shrine Circus still has two more shows today in Flint. You can catch the acts at the Dort Financial Credit Union Event Center today (Monday) at 1 pm and 5 pm. After those shows, the circus will pack up and head to Saginaw for another round of shows at the Dow Event Center this coming Friday (1/24) through Sunday (1/26.)
