Sony Says Spider-Man Will Not Appear in Marvel’s ‘Avengers’ Movie Sequel
Well the rumor that surfaced yesterday of Spider-Man appearing in Marvel's 'Avengers: Infinity War' was untrue. I was getting all excited like a little kid until two minutes ago. Sheesh.
Yesterday, January 14th, Latino Review revealed that Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios struck a deal that would allow Spider-Man to appear in a 2018 sequel to 'The Avengers.' A representative of Sony has come out on record to end the speculation.
It would have been epic to see Spider-Man saving the world along side all of our favorite Avengers, but I guess it just wasn't meant to be. The rumors started after the email hack at Sony became public and revealed the two movie giants talked about having Spider-Man in 'Captain America: Civil War.'
We still have some hope though. Since the film doesn't come out until 2018, this dream could come true. Let's join together and start crossing our fingers... but holding our breath is probably not a great idea.
