Steve Jobs changed the world that we live in today. It really does not matter what you thought of him, that fact will stay true either way.

In 2005 Jobs gave a commencement speech at Stanford University, only a year after he was initially diagnosed with cancer.

His speech was very direct, but much like everything else he gave the world, it had a bigger message.

The topic was how to live before you die.

Steve Jobs was preparing the release of a book, and with the news of his death, the sales have skyrocketed.  The upcoming authorized biography, 'Steve Jobs' sales have increased by 22,000 percent.

'Steve Jobs' is scheduled for publication Nov. 21 by Simon & Schuster. There is no word yet from the publisher if the publication date will be moved up.

The book is based on more than 40 interviews with Jobs as well as interviews with more than a hundred family members, friends, colleagues, and competitors.

Check out his inspirational speech.
