Suge Knight might be in jail awaiting the beginning of a murder trial, but that hasn't stopped him from getting into more trouble. TMZ's sources report that months before he ran over a man involved in the production of the N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton, he actually made death threats toward the film's director, F. Gary Gray. Now, he's being indicted for them.

The Grand Jury indictment, a copy of which TMZ secured for their story, reads, in part, "On or about August 8, 2014, Suge ... threatened to commit a crime which would result in death and great bodily injury to Felix Gary Gray."

Apparently, Suge was very unhappy with the way he was portrayed in Straight Outta Compton, and his feelings about his portrayal might have motivated his alleged death threats toward Gray. In the film, Suge's portrayed as a gang affiliated music mogul who used physical force to make Eazy-E let Dr. Dre out of his record deal with Ruthless Records.

What's interesting is, aside from the Eazy-E bit, his portrayal—that of a gang-banging record label CEO—wasn't all that different from the way he was portrayed in the Tupac Shakur biopic, All Eyez on Me, which he was reported to have been just fine with.

What's also strange is that this indictment was filed against Suge on Feb. 7, which is just about six months ago. He's set to be arraigned on Thursday (Aug. 3), which will make more than six months since the indictment was filed.

Why did it take so long? TMZ's sources close to the embattled former music tycoon say the murder charge against Suge is falling apart, so now the court's trying to keep him locked up any way they can.
