Swae Lee teams up with Drake on his new single “Won’t Be Late,” which was released on Friday (Aug. 16) on all streaming platforms.

On Wednesday, Swae teased the song on his Twitter account. In his tweet, he shared a vintage-styled photograph with “8 6 19” written on it. Along with the picture, the Rae Sremmurd rapper wrote, “Vibes drop starting tomorrow."

The Tekno-produced banger marks the first time Swae and Drizzy have ever paired up on a song and possesses an island bop.

"Tell 'em again, tell 'em off (Tell 'em off)/It just dawned on me (On me), what's right, feels wrong," Swae croons on the dance track. "No, no wingman, that's only my A game/At this game, two can play."

Drake, who toured Europe earlier this year, keeps the vibes going as he rhymes about a complicated relationship. "Yeah, yeah, saving my time for you/Suddenly I freed up (Free)/Freezing my times with you/When I'm lonely, I can bring them up/Closed off my line for you," he sings.

In addition to “Won’t Be Late,” the 24-year-old rapper also released a melodic love ballad called “Sextasy."

Swae released Swaecation last year as part of Rae Sremmurd's SR3MM triple album, but he promised fans that he would drop an official solo album in 2019.

In the meantime, Swae is hitting the road with Post Malone on the “Runaway Tour” next month. The trek is scheduled to launch on Sept. 14 in Tacoma, Wash., and wrap up Nov. 20 in Los Angeles.
