T.I. Becomes an Independent Artist Again, Looking for “Another Beautiful Situation”

While you're listening to Jay-Z Magna Carta Holy Grail, you probably missed the news that T.I. has become an independent artist again looking for "another beautiful situation." The King of The South starting his career pushing his own music and now he returns.

Clifford Harris signed a lucrative deal with Atlantic Records which produced seven albums. Now the ATL actor is back on the grind to find that next partnership with a major label. The emcee told MTV News,

"It's a lot of work, man, it's a lot of resources to be dedicated to it," T.I. said of being back in control of his destiny. "But at the end of the day I think it's worth it. It put me back into mind of where we were after 'I'm Serious,' where we had to put our own funds and resources into [2003's] Trap Muzik ... I think that led to a beautiful situation ... and I think right now we're just working to reach another beautiful situation."

The 'Trouble Man' rapper is enjoying his new found successful with reality television show on VH1, T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle. The show has attracted new fans and strengthen his core fan base. Despite his run ins with the law, T.I. is in good shape.
