Fireworks lit up the skies over Mid-Michigan and Genesee County this Independence Day weekend, and we want to know which displays drew the most "Ooohs and Ahhhs!"
Independence Day is perfect for outdoor family fun. It's also the one time of year when it’s seems to be okay to play with matches. Family fun and playing with matches may seem like an unlikely combo, but hey, so is America, right?
Maybe you live someplace where fireworks are illegal. Maybe secretly every time you hear some go off you are momentarily terrified that somebody on a neighboring block has just been shot to death. Maybe both (Brooklyn, rep!).
Looking to celebrate July 4, 2013 with a bang? Well, we've compiled a list of the best fireworks shows this year in Flint, Genesee County and the surrounding areas for you.
If you were out of town last night or didn't have a chance to head downtown and check out the fireworks in Flint, no worries I got you. I shot this video from the top of the Rutherford Parking Garage in downtown Flint.
Enjoy the grand finale and just pretend you were there with me!
The 4th of July is more than just grilling out and trying to blow things up in the back yard! It's always capped off by some of the biggest and best fireworks around.
Here is where and when you can find the fireworks display nearest to you.
With only a few days until the 4th of July, I figured we should probably show you what not to do. We've all burned our hand on a sparkler or tried to shoot a bottle rocket out of our hand.
I'm not saying don't try it, all I want you to do is see what happens if you do. Enjoy and have a safe and happy 4th!
