Flint's Juneteenth festival hits downtown Flint once again and is hosted by Dewaun E Robinson.

Flint will be celebrating Juneteenth 2019 with a four days of events, and a city-wide parade.

Flint residents took to the streets with police to help stop crime by reminding people to 'Light Up The City'.

Despite rumors that the 'Juneteenth' parade would not be happening this year, organizers are positive that it will in some form. Mlive reported that the parade had been cancelled due to financial reasons, but according to Paul Herring, "It will happen!  Parade or march, its going to happen."
