Flint’s Juneteenth Festival Has A Great Turnout Despite Rain [Video]

Flint's Juneteenth festival hits downtown Flint once again and is hosted by Dewaun E Robinson.

Dewaun is a really good friend of mine and is always heavily involved in the community. Since I met him 2 years ago his dedication to his community remains unshaken and has only gotten stronger since. I had the pleasure of having him on my night show to talk about the importance of Juneteenth and how this is something that needs more exposure.

Unfortunately, the weather in Michigan can be a bit unpredictable at times. But festivities still marched on. The turnout despite the rain looked awesome and Dewaun did a great job as host. If you missed out on this year's Juneteenth don't worry, Dewaun is always creating events that unite the city. So I'm sure they'll be plenty of events in the future for the community to come out.
