Everyone knows Big Sean is Detroit through and through, but his 11,000 square foot mansion in Beverly Hills takes him back to his California roots.

Big Sean was raised in Detroit, we all know that story, but he was actually born in Santa Monica. So I guess it should have been no surprise when he bought a mansion back in California four years ago. The home was actually owned by famed guitarist, Slash before Big Sean purchased it. Sean is a very spiritual guy, so it's not hard to imagine why he would be drawn to a home owned by a fellow musician.

Sean bought the home from Slash four years ago for about $9 Million. He has spent quite a bit of time and money renovating the home, and is actually rumored to be selling it for $12.5 Million.

You can see some of the back yard in the IG video above, along with learning a little bit about a new initiative that Sean is working on with his mom.

The home has 7 bedrooms, and 7.5 bathrooms spread over the 11,000 square feet of living space. You'll also find a movie theater, state of the art recording studio, and a nightclub, complete with stripper pole. Sean remodeled pretty much all of the house, but he did leave some of the more Slash inspired touches.

The house is not publicly listed right now, but the AD feature is definitely a tool to drum up potential buyers. I don't think that Sean is ready to leave Cali just yet though, and maybe a move toward Hollywood is in his future. Sean has recently been cast as the voice of 'Trouble' in a new Netflix animated movie called "Dog Gone Trouble."
