The Game Tells Artists Boycotting Chris Brown “F!*k You”
Pop star Justin Bieber offered a hot take on Friday (May 3) when he compared Chris Brown to Tupac Shakur and Michael Jackson. Needless to say, the statement sparked some controversy. The Game has come forward to defend CB.
Bieber's comparison came with the caption, "I’m calling it now when CB passes away after a long full life, you will miss what you had in front of you the whole time ... trust me watch you will see. the people who have over looked this mans talent because of a mistake he made.. you need to reevaluate! Love you."
Game was asked his opinion by TMZ on Friday in West Hollywood, Calif. and he had harsh words for those still boycotting Brown for his past transgressions, which include assaulting Rihanna in 2009. "Justin got his own opinion about...you know, I don't have to agree with Justin," Game said. "I got my own opinion. I think Chris Brown is um...when I watch him perform and I hear him sing, it reminds me a lot of [Michael Jackson]. Brown be out here thuggin,' so he got a little Tupac in him. But as far as people not wanting to work with Chris Brown, if you don't want to work with Chris Brown, man fuck you. You gotta understand what it is. We influence the culture. We create the wave out here."
The Game and Breezy have collaborated on music multiple times including the tracks "Pot of Gold," "Wait" and "All That." Brown is currently working on his new album Indigo Season and prepping a summer tour with Nicki Minaj.
