The Minimum Wage In Michigan Is Going Up In January
Michigan workers making the minimum wage are about to get a raise.
Michigan is one of 18 states that have been raising the minimum wage incrementally. The next raise will hit workers paychecks on January 1st, 2018.
The current minimum wage is at $8.90 per hour right now, and will go up to $9.25 per hour.
This may not seem like much, but considering there are still many states with a minimum wage below $8 an hour, it isn't too bad.
There's still a major push to get the minimum wage up to $15 per hour, but that fight is most likely still a long way away. In the meantime, I'll be saving all of my extra gold bullion in a swimming pool so I can live that Scrooge McDuck life.
