The forecast has temperatures in the upper 80's for the rest of the week, luckily the Saginaw Splash Park is opening just in time.

The splash park is officially opening to the public at 10am today (June 25th) after some repairs were made to broken pipes. The park is a popular feature of the Anderson Celebration Park that features a bunch of stuff for kids and families to do.

The city of Saginaw put out an official statement on their Facebook page about the opening of the park.

If you are looking to cool off today, the park is located at 1830 Fordney St. in Saginaw. You can get an idea of what to expect at the Saginaw Splash Park, thanks to a great play-through video by Simon Learning.

If you want to take a trip down memory lane, you can check out the video of the old wave pool and water slide that used to sit at this location in Saginaw. The old water park closed down in the early 2000's.
