Tyler, The Creator is finally sharing how he feels about his album going No. 1 over DJ Khaled.

On Thursday (July 18), Zane Lowe released his interview with Tyler for Apple Music's Beats 1 Radio. During their conversation, Tyler touched on the topic for the first time since his IGOR album landed at the top of the Billboard 200 chart over DJ Khaled's Father of Asahd LP.

"I'm just saying people fucking hated that fucking album," Tyler said of his Cherry Bomb album before going into his latest LP. "So when I put [IGOR] out and it [land at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart], and again, I don't make shit to be first week or be radio or whatever, but for this work of art and that album cover and these videos and me doing this suit wig thing and having these progressions and this distorted this and that, and these melodies and this stuff like that, beat ... and this is no disrespect to Khaled or anyone, but this nigga had every person in the industry, everyone on that fucking album. Everyone. Everyone. Cardi B. 21 Savage. Travis Scott. Post Malone. Beyoncé. Jay. Everyone who sells billions of records and the fact that I beat him with this that isn't parallel to all the popping music right now was fucking crazy, bro."

The internet began focusing on a potential beef between Khaled and Tyler when both their albums dropped last month. For his part, DJ Khaled appeared to have addressed the reason why his album came in second place as rumors about bundle pack politics spread the internet. On June 10, the Miami DJ and producer hopped on to his Instagram account to thank his fans for the support and confirm that he was in the "music bizz not the bundle bizz."

In the days after IGOR hit the No. 1 spot on the charts, Tyler was accused of shading Khaled, but based on his new interview, the "EarfQuake" rapper bears no ill will towards Khaled. He's mostly just proud of himself.
