Walmart Giving $30 Gift Cards To Exchange Your Old Car Seat

Walmart is hosting a 'Car Seat Recycling' event in September to celebrate National Baby Safety Month.

The event is aimed at getting parents to get rid of any old car seats that may not meet current safety standards, and replace them with newer safer seats. The kicker is that you can get a $30 Walmart gift card to spend a Walmart if you participate in the exchange.

Just take your car seat into the service counter at any Genesee County Walmart. Any brand is accepted, but only two seats are allowed per household. Booster seats are not accepted at this event.

After you give them your seat, you can receive a $30 Walmart gift card to use in store or online. The Genesee County locations list the recycling event on their website happening on Monday, September 16th.
