Wind Advisory in Effect Throughout Monday

If you were one of the many that decided to put your summer patio furniture out over the weekend, you might want to bring it back in. It's going to get really windy today.

A wind advisory is in effect right now until 8 pm this evening with wind gusts expected to reach up to 55mph. According to ABC12, a Lakeshore Flood Warning is in effect for shoreline areas of Huron and Tuscola counties from 10 am until midnight. Shoreline flooding is expected with 4-9' waves likely, but waves up to 10-14' are possible.

Obviously, if it gets as windy as predicted, there's a good chance trees will come down and the one thing we don't need right now...power outages.

People are already starting to go stir crazy while having power. Imagine if the power goes out, they are going to lose it.
