A statement from Jenesis Sanchez, who is the mother of XXXTentacion's child, will reportedly be used as state prosecutors' evidence in the trial for the murder of the rapper.

According to court documents cited in a report by The Blast on Wednesday (May 1), Florida prosecutors are planning to use two separate statements from Sanchez that were given to police. They also plan to use statements from XXXTentacion’s mother, Cleopatra Bernard, and other people connected to either X or the murder suspects, Dedrick D. Williams, Michael Boatwright, Trayvon Newsome and Robert Allen.

This news arrives a week after the surfacing of reports that Sanchez is in a legal fight with X's mother. According to court documents also cited by The Blast, Sanchez wants to secure a DNA sample from the late rapper so she can establish paternity of their son, Gekyume, who was born on Jan. 26. Bernard has reportedly tried to block the request, and it's currently unclear why she's done so.

The latest report regarding the trial for X's accused killers has materialized nearly two months after attorneys for murder suspect Michael Boatwright, who police believe fired the fatal shots that killed XXXTentacion last June, filed a motion stating that they wanted prosecutors to hand over every statement from XXX's mother and Sanchez.

Although prosecutors delivered at least 20 CDs full of evidence to Boatwright's attorneys, they later acknowledged that there was some missing evidence, particularly, testimonies from Bernard and Sanchez.

In addition to the missing statements, Boatwright's lawyers have also requested that all photos from the case, including body cam footage from the officers, be handed over for review in his defense.
