New XXXTentacion Teaser Posted, Announcement Coming Next Week

XXXTentacion may be gone, but his legacy is far from being forgotten. On Friday (March 15), fans were greeted with a mysterious teaser on the Instagram account for the late rapper.

In the clip, which was posted onto X's IG story, an image of what appears to be X’s eyes pop up before flashes of the late rapper and other imagery materialize onscreen. At the end of the clip, a link is left behind for fans to head over to shopxxxtentacion.com, which is the rapper's official web store. Once there, you can see that the website features a big question mark and a countdown clock for something that will be announced next at 12 a.m. next Thursday (March 21). Could it be new music or new merch? No one knows.

This news comes just before the one-year anniversary of X's ? album's release date. So the rapper's estate may be dropping something related to the project. The ? album includes songs like "Hope" and the platinum-selling track “Changes” featuring PnB Rock.

Speaking of PnB, the Philly rapper revealed that he has a song with XXXtentacion on his upcoming album TrapStar Turnt PopStar.

As for XXXTentacion, his posthumous album, Skins, was released last December to positive reviews. The 10-track collection boasts the Kanye West-assisted song "One Minute" and "Bad!" The latter song has been certified platinum.
