UPDATE (Jan. 15):

According to a report from the Atlanta Journal Constitution on Thursday (Jan. 14), YFN Lucci was the driver of the vehicle that contained men who opened fire in Atlanta last month resulting in one death and one injury.

The publication notes that according to the arrest warrant, YFN Lucci and "three other criminal street gang members" drove to a predominantly rival gang area before two people in the car began firing off shots with assault-style rifles.

TMZ also reports that one of the men, James Adams, who died after sustaining a gunshot wound to his head, is supposedly a member of Lucci's crew.

In video footage obtained by investigators, Adams, reportedly said prior to the shooting "We’re fitting to fuck this city up, man!."

Adams was later "manually ejected" from the vehicle during the exchange of gunfire. At this time, he had already obtained the gunshot wound. Police found him lying in the road afterwards when they reported to the scene.

YFN Lucci turned himself in to Georgia's Fulton County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday (Jan. 13). His attorney, Drew Findling, told the AJC, "Our review of the initial evidence made available to us indicates there is no basis for any criminal charges against Rayshawn Bennett. We will continue our own independent investigation on his behalf."

Lucci, who appeared in court yesterday, is also being held without bond. Video of his court appearance via a Zoom call can be found below.
