1,500 Donated Water Filters Will Be Given Away To Flint Residents [Video]

1,500 water filters were anonymously donated to Concerned Pastors group in Flint, and they will be given away to Flint residents.

The group held a meeting to talk about the water issues in Flint, and to announce the free filter giveaway next week.

While water quality is still a major issue in Flint, the price of the water is about to dramatically decrease beginning in September.

Most Flint residents are happy about the price dropping, but still don't think that the water is safe to drink.  That's why the Concerned Pastors group believe that this filter giveaway is still very important.

The 1,500 water filters will be given away Tuesday September 1st at 10am.  Just go to Mt. Carmel Baptist Church at 1610 W. Pierson Rd. in Flint.  You could always try to use the filtration method that Artimis came up with last winter, but I wouldn't recommend it.
