UPDATE: Police Standoff In Mundy Township Ends In Suicide

Police have confirmed that a 65 year old postal service worker was found dead after a standoff with police inside a home in Mundy Township.

Police from multiple jurisdictions were on the scene at Hill Road between Jennings and Linden, and entered the home to find the man dead from a self-inflicted gun wound. No one else was present in the home during the incident.

One daycare and Morrish Elementary, along with the whole neighborhood area was on lock-down during the standoff, which lasted 4 hours.
