It's pretty common knowledge that every home has things like a toaster, microwave, toilet and an iPad? Yes, an iPad!  Or at least some product made by Apple.  A new CNBC study showed that half of all US homes have at least one Apple product, with most having more.

A gun-toting Apple fan wanted to test the durability of the new iPad… so he shot it with a bunch of high powered rifles. Obviously, the iPad didn't make it. Then he brought out the big guns. He fired a round from a high powered M4 which blasted a big hole through the middle of the iPad… game over.

A marketing stunt where homeless people were turned into walking internet hotspots has caused some drama in Texas. The Homeless Hotspots initiative was trialed in Austin, Texas at the South by Southwest music conference. The homeless people stood beside conference goers with a MiFi device, which connects to the internet via 4G. People could connect and go online for a suggested price of $2 per 15

Facebook has a new app called Friend Verifier-- an app that gives users the ability to scan their friends, and pending friend requests, against the national sex offender registry for free. The app is now available on Facebook's website or you can get it at friendverifier.com

Samsung showed off their flexible AMOLED displays at CES 2011 Las Vegas. The phones are rollable, bendable and can even survive impacts from a hammer. Now if they can just make a feature that guarantees you won't drop it in the toilet!

Since the introduction of the new TSA nude body scanners, people have had questions about their safety.  Health concerns and its overall effectiveness have been brought up over and over again. The guys over at Mercedes have developed a car that emits zero emissions, so for fun they decided to make it invisible also. I get the concept. Zero emission means the environment won't see it, but to make the car actually invisible!? That's just reckless. And awesome!
