What is most embarrassing about this is it wasn't kids fighting, but adults throwing punches.

A fight broke out during a youth cheerleading competition at the University Of Detroit Mercy on Sunday. The event (which was put on by the Detroit Police Athletic League) went well with over 1,000 youth competitors, but the real news is the all-out brawl that occurred outside of the event.

Witnesses are reporting that a few parents were upset about the competition, and decided to throw punches on Fairfield Street outside of Calihan Hall.

One witness even reported that a woman pulled out a baton during the fight. Officers arrived on the scene quickly and broke up the fight.
