Mayor Dayne Walling gave a very positive, aggressive outlook for Flint during his 2014 'State of the City' address on Monday night.

The message that Flint would be under local government control sooner than later was the major theme of the speech.

Mayor Walling also touched on Flint's never-ending struggle against blight, and the issues that are caused by it.  Walling sent out a tweet preceding the State of the City address letting Flint residents know that we are a major part of the rebound in Flint.

Some of the goals that Dayne would like to reach in 2014 seem lofty, but overall it seems like Flint is pointed in the right direction going into the next year.

What do you think are the most important changes that should be made in Flint?
