Genesee Valley Center Closed Due To Water Main Break

If you were hoping to stay warm inside the Genesee Valley Center today, that's not going to be an option.

The mall posted about the closure on their Facebook page this morning.

Apparently the record low temps were partially to blame for a water main break that happened just before 8am this morning.

This is just another first for me when it comes to Michigan weather. I would have told anyone that I have seen everything Michigan has to throw at us, but this week has been full of uncharted territory.

From Governor Whitmer declaring a state of emergency, to the USPS cancelling mail delivery. Everything was capped off by the consumers emergency alert asking people to turn their heat down!

If you were hoping to go to the mall today to warm up, you'll have to figure something else out. Luckily we will only have one more day to deal with these crazy temps.
