Kelly Rowland and The-Dream are going 'Lights Out' together on the road this summer.

The Destiny's Child alum will be partnering up with the multi-platinum producer/recording artist for a series of dates starting May 24, when their 11-city jaunt kicks off in Kansas City; they'll wrap things up a little over a month later in San Francisco, where the tour's scheduled to conclude on June 26.

Coincidentally, both artists will be out promoting their fourth solo albums -- The-Dream's new LP, 'IV Play,' will arrive in stores first, dropping May 28, while Rowland's latest set, 'Talk a Good Game,' is due for a June 17 release. And given that The-Dream produced a pair of Rowland's new songs, we can presumably expect to see a little side-by-side crooning on the 'Lights Out' tour.

According to The-Dream, hitting the road with Rowland was a natural decision; as he told Billboard, she and Beyonce are "like sisters to me." He went on to explain that "We just became great friends. We are really similar in so many ways ... The decision to tour together came naturally to both. "It was just a regular talk: 'You gonna go? We should go do it together. We should go on tour.'"
