NYPD Sued for Mistaking Jolly Rancher Candy as Meth Rocks

A NYC man is suing the NYPD for mistaking Jolly Rancher candy as meth rocks. I am not that informed when it comes to drugs but I think it would be hard to mistake the hard candy for hard rocks. 

Love Olatunjiojo, 25 years old, is suing the NYPD for illegal search and seizure of suspected "crystalline rocks of solid material" according to the HuffingtonPost.  Olatunjiojo was accompanied with his friend when police found four blue and two red Jolly Rancher candies in his possession.

After being arrested and thrown in jail, police crime lab found that the suspects were telling the truth.  Charges were dropped and the two candy having men were released.  However, Love O. felt this incident has produced "emotional trauma and suffering" which is found in the lawsuit.
