The new QLine kicked off its first round of testing in the city of Detroit today.

The new QLine is a state of the art street car system that will be rolling around Detroit starting in 2017. Testing began today and kicked off on Woodward Avenue.

The new rail system has been met with a lot of negative criticism, but from the looks of it this new transportation method will help make Detroit look more modern all while helping people get across town.

With change comes obstacles including people not knowing the laws in Michigan. The QLine Facebook page notified Detroiters that parking in active roadway whether a vehicle is attended or unattended is illegal.

This is going to be an adjustment for Detroiters but in the end I think it will help the city not only look more up to date, but also help people get places safety.
