After news broke out that Timbaland didn't preform at a benefit show in Detroit for the Flint Water Crisis, the hip hop producer went to Instagram to address the rumors.

Rumors have been circulating the internet stating that Timbaland refused to preform at a Detroit nightclub for the Flint Water Crisis because the promoter didn't provide the correct liquor. Tweets started coming out after the show on Friday night saying that Timbaland was drunk and falling asleep during the benefit concert. Timbaland responded to a comment on Instagram to address the rumors.

Club management for the show also state that Timbaland didn't preform because they didn't have his liquor of choice.

“They had about 15 bottles of liquor and champagne, which is extremely excessive especially for a charity event,” club co-owner Mitchell Jaworski said to the New York Daily News. “They seemed more concerned about getting every drop of liquor.”
